What does a facial do for your skin?

How often should I have a facial done?

Based on our skin’s life cycle, our general recommendation is to have a facial every three to four weeks or once a month. After three or four weeks, our skin cells grow back. Facials then help this process and assure your skin is properly maintained and always glows.

Can a client wear makeup after facial?

It is not advised for a client to wear makeup after a facial. After a facial, your pores are still open and anything you apply might get your skin irritated leading to a breakout.

Dermalogica’s facial is very special as its formulas are free of artificial colors and fragrances, mineral oil, lanolin, S.D. alcohol, parabens and microplastics.

How many facials will I need before I see an improvement?

Dermalogica Pro skin 60 Facial takes about an hour to complete and the effects of much relaxed, toned and brighter skin are visible for about a week. A client will immediately see results after the first session, but more than one session is definitely recommended. To maintain your skin health, we highly advise our clients to consider facials as part of their monthly skincare routine

Can Dermalogica facial be customized?

Sure. Dermalogica 60-minute treatment is customized to target all of a client’s skin needs ultimately leaving her skin radiant and glowing. In fact, one of the main features of a Dermalogica facial is Face Mapping. This process is used to divide the facial landscape into fourteen zones. Each zone is examined to determine where conditions such as congestion, breakouts, dehydration, and/or hyperpigmentation are present. The face mapping process ensures that our facial service is properly customized to
tackle each of a client’s concerns.
